What Spring Break Means to Us

Once again, our Governor, Charlie Crist, has declared the week of March 30 - April 6 to be Home Education Week here in Florida.
Governor Crist included in his proclamation that:

Studies indicate most children who are home educated exhibit self-confidence, good citizenship, exceptional academic test scores, higher than average college attendance and success.

The Sunday Before Spring Break

It has been an energizing and exhausting week (see Daily Photo). Although I treasure and enjoy being with friends (a big thank you for all the wonderful supportive comments on my post From This Day Forward), I also need an abundant amount of ‘me time’ to recharge.
I luxuriate in just hibernating in my home office […]

From This Day Forward

I wish I were funny.
Squirt coffee out your nose funny like my friend Bee.
If she had spent yesterday as I had, she would sit down at her laptop this morning and be able to give us all a case of the giggles while relaying the events of a day well spent.
But not me.

Today’s post […]

Happy Easter!

I wasn’t going to do an Easter post…just an Easter Blessing which you can view here. However, as always, Bob from Every,Every Minute has written a MyTurn/Your Turn that I feel compelled to answer today.

“If you could have an Easter basket made for you by anyone living, dead or fictional….who would it be?”

I do an […]
