I said a prayer for you today
and I know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
although I heard no word.
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn’t mind.)
I asked to send you treasures
of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that God be near you
at the start of each new day
to grant you health and blessings
and friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
in all things great and small,
but it was God’s loving care for you

You know, I think it must be that prayer today that is keeping me moving right now because I have to although I really want to sleep. Little boy here woke up at 4 a.m. today -much to my chagrin -and has been awake ever since now too! Almost 4 hours later and now, suddenly, he has crashed, sitting up in the high chair, after munching on some chocolate-peanut butter puff cereal! Now, to get him out of there and back to his bed and me to mine without agitating him too much and getting him wide awake again!

Oh, Danielle. I can’t tell you how much this touched my heart. I’m finally getting around here on Wednesday to catch up and as I scrolled down and saw this, I can not begin to tell you the comfort it brought to my heart. This is truly so very kind of you. We definitely need all the prayers that are going up for us at this time and it means so much to know others are holding us up. There is something so secure in knowing those Everlasting Arms are cradling us closely. (((((HUGS)))))
