If you have never visited Heather Armstrong’s website, you are missing out on quite a few laughs in your day. She is able to take the ordinary and mundane and make it seem as though you just visited your favorite theme park….or if you don’t care for theme parks….your own version of fun.
Today’s post just cracked me up. However, it is indeed a great Public Service Announcement in regards to listening to your pets. If they are doing something out of the ordinary and mundane, there is a purpose behind it.
So take a peek at today’s post.
I’m off to therapy in the big city today with Miss Sam. To include a trip to the Santa Fe Teaching Zoo and the Florida Museum of Natural History/Butterfly Garden.
Be sure to check your chimneys while I am gone!
Thanks for stopping by and saying hello!! I love that you do!!!

Thanks for the link
Take care.
I thought I updated your link on my friends page, but it took me to your old site. Going back now to fix it…
Thanks for the link to Dooce… funny, funny stuff, but 404 comments! Wow… that was intimidating.
Note to Tara R. above here -if you think 404 comments is intimidating, one day last week or the week before -I forget which now -she received over 1,000 comments -not all of them very nice either. Some people just think they have to rip others a new “A-hole” and do it probably because they are jealous that they can’t write like Heather does. She is fantastic and amazing. Also, she has had more than her fair share of mental health issues and freely admits it - a huge proponent of seeking treatment and not afraid at all to let it all hang out about those things in her life. She really is a terrific role model.
So funny about the racoon…well not that funny I have 2 opossums living in my crawl space…ack!!
Loved the post about your college days…are you a different girl nowadays? hmmmm?
thanks for the link!
I went through a phase a couple years ago where I read her entire blog. I haven’t read it in quite awhile
I am also a huge Dooce fan!
Did anyone else happen to notice that the raccoon emerged from the chimney with no soot, unlike our clever hero, Chuckles?
I was actually a Daily Chuck fan before I started reading Heather’s blog. I fell in love with her photographs of that adorable 35 pound bag of cuteness. Weird, huh?
Love the new site!! It makes me smile….and it feels as if you’ve turned another chapter in your life. Love the old college pics! Post some more of those!
Hugs ~ April
