It has been an energizing and exhausting week (see Daily Photo). Although I treasure and enjoy being with friends (a big thank you for all the wonderful supportive comments on my post From This Day Forward), I also need an abundant amount of ‘me time’ to recharge.
I luxuriate in just hibernating in my home office with several refills of coffee and ‘working’. It’s one of the ‘tools’ I dig out of my ‘How Danielle Keeps It Together’ toolbox.
‘Working’ can be anything from sorting through my photo portfolio to watching the squirrels feed off their new block of cracked corn (above photo was taken from my home office window in between typing these paragraphs).
It is going to be a quiet day. I hope you enjoy the same.

I know exactly what you mean. Yesterday was our social day (kids and I visited family, Shamus spent the day hanging with his friends.) Today we are all getting our quiet time in–all except Rachel–the only E in the family. And boy is she ever. We should ship her off to grandmas’s on Sundays.
Praying that you get some rest and rejuvination. I’m coming up that way in a couple of weeks, perhaps we could meet for lunch or something again.
Hugs,
Susan
Breaks and time to recharge is so important. I am learning to do so too as I tend to be carried away with too many projects. Hope you are refresh for another week
