Wanted: A Dog With Character

We are finally on the hunt for another canine addition to our family. We are headed out today to the bigger city’s Humane Society and a rescue shelter. The border collie that we found at our local shelter yesterday had already been adopted.

We want a clone of our present family pet, Marbles. However, we know that this is impossible. So we have narrowed our ‘wish list’ to:

  • medium sized
  • six months or younger
  • herding breed

When we went in search of Marbles, I knew he was the one when he took one look at me and bolted in the other direction (grin). Pray that we find the pet that is right for us.

    I presume that Marbles, having lots of character, enjoys adopting lots of personas. One of them must be Harley Dog!

    awww he’s adorable!!! i’ve got 3 dogs myself and love them to pieces. We used to ahve a border collie years back.. one of the smartest dogs there is!

    Stupid question, but did you check out PetFinder.com?

    We found our latest addition, a husky/wolfhound mix, over 400 miles away..
