For you, your mom making your Barbie such a wonderful variety of clothes. For me, the year my parents had very little money and mom spent whatever spare moments she could squeak to herself and she 'built' a dollhouse for me out of cardboard boxes. She put in scraps of material for curtains. Filled it with cheap dollhouse furniture. But I was enthralled by it - I was 4 - and I have never, EVER forgotten the love put into it. We use the Spectrum workbooks. Each page is just the right amount for my kids to do in 1 day. Too much Math would make mine hate it. It's great that you have those Barbie doll memories.
