One of the many fond memories from my childhood was slipping on my galoshes and taking my umbrella out into the rain and just walking. It was so peaceful. I love the sound of rain dripping off leaves. I love to sit on the porch during a gentle shower. When we lived in Texas, I loved the "gullywashers" and the fantastic lightning shows. Here in Florida, I love to watch the dramatic storm clouds moving across the sky (I probably take too many photos of those). Today, I have a library book to keep me occupied during the rain.
