My friend Heather over at Elasah has begun a new writing prompt for Tuesdays.
“The goal of Tuesday prompts is to force myself to be creative even when I don’t feel like it. You can join in too, regardless of your creative media–in other words you can use the prompt to write about it, poet-icize it, draw it, sculpt it, photograph it, whatever your fancy. I figure there are 52 weeks in a year, so that is 52 Tuesdays to get creative.”
The prompt for today is:
Walk in the next room, look at the tallest thing there, what is under it?
The room next to my home office is the main living room. There you will find a large ‘bookcase’ tucked in the corner. It is definitely the tallest item in the room and there are some interesting things (at least for me) tucked up on it’s shelves.
For the ‘creative’ challenge, I played around with my Paint Shop Pro X program and began to learn a few more of it’s functions outside of my standard usage of text and borders. Here is the result:

Oh Danielle–that is WONDERFUL! I LOVE all the pictures and descriptions on the next page! And wow, how do you find room for all your books if you store other things on the book shelves? We never have enough shelf space for all our books, they are piled everywhere.
Always so creative! I don’t know when you have time to teach! BTW..thanks for linking to me..:) and I noticed your mentiion of Crocs below…did you happen to read teh Croc Rant in I think Newsweek…or maybe Time? hysterical!..and the followup article too after the massive response. Apparently there really are two kinds of people…Croc lovers…and Croc haters. lol
