I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who has a pile of dirty dishes in the sink, I'm not a fan of dishwashing but I do love a clean kitchen. =)

That is a great day book.

After I eat a meal, I want to relax. I don’t want to tackle the kitchen - even though I frequently try to incorporate my husband’s routine of ‘clean as you go’. During the early years of our marriage a dirty sink used to drive my husband insane. It was right up there with an unmade bed. As you can see by my picture thought for the day ~ he has acclimated to going to bed with dirty dishes in the sink and he solves his ‘bed made’ obsession by making up his side only .

I love love LOVE that movie. Maybe I'll have to rent it to rewatch. Hummmm, somehow I doubt my local store will have it on dvd. LOL. I'll watch for it on cable.

Hope the class went well, as does your week.

Cheers!

You all should get out the Kids cook books "Cooking the (insert country here) Way". In fact, definitely the Japanese one knowing Miss Sam's love of Japanese culture. They have a chapter or two about the culture and how their food styles developed at the beginning and then tons of easy to prepare recipes with small explanations. My kids LOVE them and they are an excellent way to learn together both about cooking AND different countries. Or if you are feeling less adventurous get a hold of the Usborne cook books--they are INCREDIBLE and have healthy foods with easy to follow (and hard to mess up) recipes.:)

I lose earrings too. Why not buy two Walmart earrings and then you can lose two and still have a pair!

That dinner sounds yummy to me.

My baby bird is NOT ready to fly off!

Ah, you're brave for showing your kitchen sink area. This apartment kitchen is so tiny that one dirty glass makes the entire place look bad! I don't even have enough room to prepare anything more than a basic recipe and one side...my DH thinks I'm starving him. ;)

Good luck to you keeping balance between your counseling and life. I always have to fight my desire to take on everything all at once. :)
