A memorable moment…as parents we tend to view our children through the filter of ‘that’s my baby’. A memorable moment for me was yesterday when Miss Sam walked down the driveway to see yet another ‘new member’ of our family. I watched her walk down the driveway and I found myself without my mommy filter on thinking – oh my gosh, she is so beautiful.
I am grateful….that Mr. John and I are at a place in our lives that we can walk into a Lexus car dealership and buy a car. Gotcha! We did walk into a Lexus car dealership and buy a car but it most certainly was not a Lexus. Try a 2002 and Toyota 4Runner (giggle).

I laugh…watching Snickers and Marbles play. She hops like a bunny around him to get his attention and he stands there like a snob. Then in a split second they are running through the house or hitting every corner of the backyard. I am so glad that they are bonding.
I remember...
- when I am sick ~ I deserve to be comforted
- when I am presented with a gift ~ I deserve it to be without a price
- when I give my opinion ~ I deserve to have that opinion respected
- when I am authentically me ~ I deserve not to fear that I will suffer a loss because of it
I love…that now we will be able to go fishing!!!!And that working on a certain project has so totally reignited my desire to create the inventory I need to bring my photos to the marketplace.
Something new…my Adobe Photoshop Elements Program and The Missing Manual tutorial book. I absolutely love my Corel Paint Program (still haven’t utilized it to it’s full potential) but I am excited about having another program to compliment it.
I will celebrate…deleting The Whippoorwill Chronicles. I don’t need it anymore.
A joyful picture from this week…

Yippee!!!!!!!
Hope you join in the fun of the Joyful Journal and bless us with this week’s blessings in your life!!

Oh! Yippee is right! I got PS6 this past Spring and love it. I haven’t played with it too much, but when I have – I’ve loved it! Even though I have figured out a lot with tutorials online, I think I’m going to look into getting that book. Hmmm Thanks for showing your “Joyful Picture” today, Danielle.
Oops! That’s supposed to be PSE6. I have the same program you showed above.
I can tell you are going to have fun with that!
I’ve posted my Journal.
I have PSE6 as well though I’ve not found that book yet. I’ve heard that Scot Kelby has a great tutorial for using the PS programs but every time I try to buy one the books are gone and the library either doesn’t have a current copy or the hold line is very long for it.
Oh, lucky you! I’ve been craving my own PhotoShop…
Nice wheels! I’m jealous of your Photoshop swag too. Great blessings this week.
A new car regardless if Lexus of not is always fun, I especially enjoy new software though.
That bit about being authentically you and not suffering a loss…good stuff! Now…if I could just implant that in the brains of those around me…
