A memorable moment…was when I paid all the bills and actually had some money left over.
I am grateful….that I was able to counsel my clients this morning and the weekend has now begun!
I laugh…at how I think I can do it all.
I remember...when the kids that we are taking care of (while their mom gains her strength back from being sick) were potty training and in kindergarten. Now one is in fifth grade and the other is a teenager. I love growing roots.
I love…Bealls. Have I mentioned this before????? I get coupons via email and save tons when I have a bit of cash left over from paying the bills.
Something new….with that extra cash I was able to replace the jeans that Snicker’s made a midnight snack out of and purchase a few luxuries:
- new shoes ~ I did not have to think twice about purchasing these shoes. They were 40% off and I also had a 20% coupon…plus….they are so. so. comfortable (that’s a plus).
- new handbag (I bought mine in black) ~ I discovered Stone Mountain handbags several years ago and they are the only ones I purchase. They are small enough to keep all the unnecessary junk from accumulating yet big enough to hold my debit card. Do I hear an amen????? It was not on sale but I had another 20% off coupon. Yippee.
I will celebrate…surrounding myself with things that are ‘all autumn’. I plan on participating in Sandra’s (from Diary of a Stay at Home Mom)Thirty-One Days of Autumn. Every day you post a photo that says ‘Autumn’. I am all over that!!! This is my favorite time of year (second to Christmas that is).
A joyful picture from this week…My 31 Days of Autumn Day Three photo:

This is the walkway that leads to our home.
Hope you join in the fun of the Joyful Journal and bless us with this week’s blessings in your life!!

Hi yourself. I have been following you in my reader and I think I have been getting all your feeds. I have been a bit lax about commenting and visiting lately but as winter comes on I expect I will pick it up again. There is always so much to do in Fall. I do like reading your diaries and have considered doing it myself, not sure how consistent I will be though.
I’m so glad you’re joining in with the 31 Days of Autumn photos.
I LOVE the one you posted, the sign is just beautiful
Shopping is a good thing!
I’m a Bealls fan as well. BUT I also LOVE Kohl’s and am so thrilled that the new on in Ocala was open Wednesday when I went by on the way to the kids’ lessons. We stopped in on the way home. Love it!
Oh, yeah…I’m a huge fan of Beall’s, too! I also get the coupons and special sale notices via email. I’m also with you on Christmas and Autumn being my favorite times of year.
I love the photo!
That would be a memorable moment for me too if I had money left over.
I love the new shoes you picked out. My shoes don’t fit me right after my 2nd pregnancy (somehow my feet didn’t grow during the first, but did grow in the second) so I am in the market for shoes.
Hey, I had the same “Memorable Moment” this month! Ain’t it grand?!
I don’t go to Beall’s very often. I really should! There is a Beall’s Outlet that my oldest son loves to go in when we have a chance (he likes to scour through the toys, books, and dvd’s).
