Outside My Window…Well, it was dark outside when I started but in between making a pot of coffee, putting in a load of laundry, playing fetch with the dog, filling the bird feeders and setting my husband’s work badge outside so he can swing by and get it, it is now light out. A bit overcast but I love it like that
I am thankful that…I have everything I need.
From the kitchen…guess.

I am wearing…my old. old. old. Kathy Ireland robe. But I am excited about getting dressed this morning and wearing my new jeans and shoes. I switched to boot cut jeans the last time I bought jeans and forgot this time and automatically regressed back to my straight leg jeans. Are straight leg jeans still cool?
I am creating…inventory for my photography business. I captured this ‘nut’ at Saturday’s Peanut Festival. Might make a good business card (grin).

From the learning rooms…Miss Sam is diligently working through her Life Pac curriculum units. However, her learning highlights for her have been how to put a You Tube video onto Movie Maker and ‘overwrite’ the words/music with her own. Is that illegal? Seems to me that would be illegal. She is only experimenting and not posting it on the world wide web. Hmmm. I wonder. Another learning highlight for her is in the area of her art. She has been working on her anime art and her characters for her stories.

I am going…to categorize all the photos I just had developed at Walgreen’s (they had their .10 deal going on last week) so that I can catch up on all of Miss Sam’s scrapbooks. I may begin to keep digital scrapbooks. Still working on learning the new program I bought about a year ago!!
I am reading…nothing. We went to the library in the bigger city last week when Miss Sam had a dental appointment there and I checked out about 5 books that looked interesting. Yet none of them have been able to hold my attention. A colleague of mine loaned me a long way gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier. I heard it was good but sad. Perhaps I will give it a shot.
I am hoping…that I am equipped to handle the new counseling task that has been assigned me. The increase in referrals for a particular pre-school has prompted a course of action that includes that I go in and work with the entire class (to include the teachers). I guess this would fall under the category of ‘group therapy’.
Around the house…oh I just don’t want to go there this morning. I had too much fun this weekend.
One of My Favorite Things…I have been searching for a unique bird house for the back yard for over a year. My persistence paid off this weekend when I found this treasure at the Peanut Festival.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Trying to adapt to the huge increase in my client load. Thank goodness it’s an easy teaching week for me – I will be showing an awesome video about learning disabilities and then have the exam review.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing…Fall decorating Florida style (grin)…

Hey!! I loved this post. First of all, I love what Sam is doing…I don’t know if it’s illegal if it’s for educational purposes.
And boy I wish I had known about the Peanut Festival. I love that sort of thing. I really need to dig up those events so that I can get out and about our state!
Hugs,
Susan
BBQ pork? Tell Miss Sam I want her to read the Twilight series and make me some cartoons!

Does your hubby do that, too? Leave for work without something important (like the badge) and have to swing back by to pick it up? I know he gets tired of my morning chant: “phone, keys, wallet, badge, briefcase…” He leaves so early that not only do I pack his lunch, I send him off with a plate of breakfast and his morning Diet Coke (we don’t drink coffee).
I love the birdhouse! You did good!
It is only illegal if she shares it publicly–though she is allowed to share it privately. In fact, if it is a spoof and doesn’t use another persons work in its entirety then it is completely legal. Go Sam!
Thankfully, my dh is fairly efficient in using his basket on the counter. Keys, wallet, etc all go in when he gets home. The only problem is when he throws his cell phone in there and forgets to plug it in instead.
Love crockpots!
Yummmm…that bbq pork looks very tasty! I have country pork ribs in the frig waiting to be prepared for dinner tonight.
OMGosh! My Scrub Jays would go CRAZY if they saw that giant goober! I can see them all hopping up and down in excitement! LOL!
Love the pictures.
