My Daybook ~ December 1

Outside My Window…it’s a little overcast today but thankfully no tornado warnings like yesterday. Even though it was the last day of hurricane season we certainly experienced some Category One winds.

I am thankful….for the awesome package that Teresa sent me as part of the Siesta Fiesta Ornament exchange!!! What a wonderful array of goodies!!!!

From the kitchen…not much going on there because of Thanksgiving leftovers – yum.

I am creating…the Christmas spirit in my home as we begin unpacking all the Christmas bins from the attic.

From the learning rooms…trying to regain focus.

I am going…crazy trying to develop my website for my photography.

I am (still) readingWorld Without End by Ken Follett. This is one of those books that really need to be read during winter vacation when you have the opportunity to read for hours on end. It’s an epic that just shouldn’t be put down until the last page is turned. I can even be found reading at stop lights. It’s an awesome book!! (Have I said that before??)

I am hoping…to get a large part of my photography inventory ready during winter break. Perhaps I will be able to participate in some of the spring festivals.

Around the house…things look pretty sparse waiting for the holiday trimmings to be put up.

One of My Favorite Things…decorating for the holidays.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:

  • get dogs groomed
  • receive therapy
  • provide therapy
  • attend the first adjunct appreciation luncheon at the college – although I told the staff assistant that I have always felt appreciated there lunch or no lunch.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing

Many thanks Teresa and a great big holiday hug!!!!

We had some rain and wind, but no tornado warnings. Whew… glad nothing came of that. I like all your Christmas decorations too. Have fun decorating your home.

I hadn’t heard about your bad weather in Florida, I haven’t been paying much attention to the news at all of late due to all that has been happening here at my house.

I really need to get busy with my holiday decorating so that I will feel more like celebrating.
