Sunday Seven: Colossians 3

  1. Your conduct should match your faith.
  2. Every Christian is in a continuing education program. The more we know of Christ and his work, the more we are being changed to be like him. Because this process is lifelong, we must never stop learning and obeying.
  3. Gratitude opens our hearts to God’s peace and enables us to put on love.
  4. As a Christian, you represent Christ at all times – wherever you go and whatever you say.
  5. Remember that no matter whom you work for, and no matter who works for you, the One you ultimately should want to please is your Father in heaven. You are accountable to him.
  6. Following Christ means loving and serving in this world.
  7. A strategy to help us live for God day by day:
  • imitate Christ’s compassionate, forgiving attitude
  • let love guide your life
  • let the peace of Christ rule in your heart
  • always be thankful
  • keep god’s Word in you at all times
  • live as Jesus Christ’s representative

Well, you managed to beat me to it and got your cards out! Mine are still in their boxes where they’ll remain until next Christmas, ha! But thank you so much for sending one my way – what a treat to get it in the mail! With our bad weather the mail man didn’t deliver for THREE days! Happy New Year, my dear friend! (((((HUG))))))

Danielle, this is a great post. I try to be aware, always, to be who I saw I am that people know me as a child of God. It’s good to be reminded!
