Cold weather, I tell you, cold weather!!!
I hate it!! Do you hear me? Hate it. Hate it. Hate it.
No, not dislike. Hate!!!
It makes my ears hurt, my bones ache and my brain go numb.
I know, I know, listen to that Florida Cracker whining about a piddly ole 18 degrees when it’s minus 18 below in some places…and others even colder.
But see, they chose those places knowing that it would get cold!
Me? I chose Florida for the blue skies, warm weather, and beaches.
And this is what we get?

What’s up with that???????
Today’s ‘Around the Square’: is Elaine from Valley Life in Alaska. I love the variety of topics I can always find over at Elaine’s place. Each post is always wrapped up with her positive attitude (except perhaps this particular post…grin). It’s like I was saying….it’s NOT supposed to be colder here than in Alaska!!!!!! Skate (giggle) on over to Valley Life in Alaska and tell her hello.
Today I am grateful for: my husband meeting me at WalMart after he got off work to help me with the grocery shopping. We used to do this all the time when we were a military family and shopping at the commissary and I am so thankful that some things never change.
Today I am going to simplify my life: by having waffles for supper. I’m tired and looking forward to sitting on the big blue comfy couch, under about four blankets and watching one of the gazillion and one shows we have on DVR.

No way. 18 is COLD! And it’s worse in Florida, because you don’t have the nice heavy winter coats and boots to deal with it!
Thanks for mentioning my blog in this post. I am truly honored. I was rather shocked myself when I learned that you were colder than we were.
I’m really enjoying how you are doing your posts recently and encouraging your readers to visit other blogs.
Oh honey that’s just sick and wrong! We’ve lucked out with rain but not cold this year. It is wrong in warm places to see ice, frost or anything close to it!
Hugs,
Holly
I’m with you on that cold weather. We’re not supposed to live in Florida and have to deal with chattering teeth! I couldn’t believe the frost and ice we’ve been having! At least I’m a couple of counties south of you, so I’m a bit warmer…yeah, right.
Seriously! We live in the Sunshine State… sunshine = warm, not cold! There have been mornings here lately when it was so cold my feet hurt. That’s just wrong!
Finally got a joyful journal done! Woohoo!
Your cold posts always have me cracking up!
