A memorable moment…was when we lit the traditional ‘birthday doughnut’ to celebrate Snickers’ first birthday. She saw the doughnut and ran to the couch where she could not stop shaking from fright. Who is afraid of a doughnut?????????
I am grateful…that I thought about putting my ‘garden spot’ in the back corner of the yard. I am able to see it from my office windows and the feeders are far enough away so the squirrels won’t be tempted to nibble through the screened porch.
I laugh…that Miss Sam thinks I live in some kind of time warp and I don’t know what LOL and OMG means.
I love…the teriyaki wings at one of our favorite restaurants The Crystal River Ale House. We went there last night. The weather has been so awesome these past few days that we were able to sit outside and watch the boats go by.
Something new….a wicker chest that I picked up at a thrift shop. With a new coat of ‘Sparkling Canyon’ paint it will be perfect to store my hopes and dreams.

A joyful picture from this week:

Today I am grateful for: the beautiful spring like weather we have been having. It inspires me to go outside and continue cultivating my garden ‘happy spot’.
Today I will simplify my life: by spending some time organizing my planner for next week.

Danielle,
Love the new blog look/title.
God Bless!
Love the new look and the header! Your photos just make me smile. Afraid of a doughnut??? Aren’t animals so funny sometimes? I know that our cats keep a smile on my face on some days with their silly behaviors.
Hugs,
Susan
P.s. Any chance you’re going to the Extraordinary Women conference in Tampa next week?
I love the new header. I’m planting my garden this weekend. Hopefully by summer we will have a ready made batch of salsa.
The donut is hilarious.
You change blog names etc. more than anyone I know!
I just spruced mine up with new colors…now it looks like and Easter Egg. lol
Love the wicker trunk!
Okay, I’ve updated my sidebar (again) to reflect your new blog name!
Poor Snickers. I wish I was afraid of doughnuts.
Hasn’t our weather been fabulous? I sure hope it stays this way until we finish remodeling and moving into our house.
