Spring Fever

So this was our homeschooling lesson for today. Agriculture 101.

  • planted flowers
  • planted tomatoes
  • laid down 8 (count them!!!) 8 bags of pea gravel
  • looked at the leaves and said ‘my goodness there are a lot of leaves that need to be raked up’…and we left them there.

We have six more stepping stones to put down and probably 20 more bags (!!!) of pea gravel. It seems to be helping to curb the dirt that our tunneling dogs tend to drag in.

And the leaves…oh well…that will probably take us all spring to gather them up.

    Awesome job!! I tried to plant tomatoes a few years ago and they flopped. I admire people who can do this. It most definitely IS a happy place.
