One of my favorite blogs to visit is April over at Whimsy. I positively drool whenever she comes home from her thrift shop excursions and uploads her fabulous finds!!
Now that it is summer, I made the time to stop by a few thrift shops of my own a few days ago. Although I did pick up quite a few “had to have” odds and ends ~ I thought I would give April a run for her money and post my favorite find:
A wonderful $8.00 concrete planter for my “Blue Daze” flowers for my ongoing backyard garden project.

With our downsizing and remodeling, we’re currently donors to the area thrift shops and not customers. I do look forward to the day when this next remodeling project is behind me and I can focus on the yard and landscape…and perhaps find a decorative object or two for the yard!
