Sandra from Diary of a Stay at Home Mom had this great post one day and I bookmarked it for future use. So here you go….all the things I SHOULD be doing (instead of blogging about them).
Of course, nothing can even be THOUGHT about until I check my emails/Facebook and of course my Google Reader along with my first second cup of coffee (this week it is Costa Rica Decaf from Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters).
I completed three chapter power points yesterday. Only fourteen more to go!!!
Then there is always the insidious filing/bill paying/and check book balancing that needs to be done.
Then there are the tasks that are added after midnight when I am sound asleep.
Then there are clothes that have been drying for pretty near a week now in the guest bathroom that need to be put away.
Then there are the clothes that are STILL dirty!!! What is it with that laundry fairy????
Seems like we bought this filter last week sometime. As you can tell the present one desperately needs to be replaced and the vents vacuumed….ho hum.
Did I mention I don’t know how to put nails into concrete (my office used to be the sun room but has since been renovated)? This task will have to wait until my handy dandy girlfriend comes back from her camping trip to Otter Springs.
Seems to me I should be scrapbooking instead.
But I can’t. It’s about time to take a shower and head on out to get my hair cut and colored.
I love just puttering around….don’t you?

If I remember correctly, Sarah Ban Breathnach has some lovely thoughts about puttering in her “Simple Abundance.”
Hee hee – we replaced filters yesterday and they were LONG overdue!! LOL I’d take pictures of my deep cleaning but it’s so messy!! LOL

I’m not positive, but I think those clothes might be dry now.
Ha HA! this totally looks like my house! YES I do love puttering around…I have lost of things that can’t seem to get hung on the walls…there are not one, but TWO filters standing against the wall in my hallway to go into the AC…but in my defense, one unit is in the attic and one is under the house..no way I’m doing that job!
Arrgh for the endless filing/bill paying/checkbook balancing …that is an endless job around here! and one more thing..Do you actually wear all those dresses?? I don’t even Own that many dresses.

Hmmm…looks familiar. The clothes that seem to take forever to dry…the dirty clothes that multiple like bunnies overnight…the things like Facebook and email that absolutely take priority first thing in the morning…and yes, we even have those filters ready to go…right where they’ve been for a month or more. (We finally decided the filters could probably just wait ’til after the bathroom reno is finished…he’s making lots of dust and I’d just have to replace the filters after he’s finished anyway…right?)
