I’m Back…….Sort Of…

Photobucket

With the first week of the Fall Semester behind me….the groundwork set for the new counseling year…. Sam’s high school curriculum in place….I still feel a tad bit overwhelmed but I am looking forward to the loooooonnnng weekend to bring what I can back into a manageable state ~ ~ ~

So I can carve out some time each day to spend on my other passions:

My Photography

  • continuing to increase my inventory
  • applying for upcoming art shows/craft shows
  • make the decision to move forward with my photo website or just cancel it
  • make the decision to keep my Flickr account or just cancel it
  • continuing to move forward with the catalog of products I have been working on

My Scrapbooking

  • getting caught up with Sam’s scrapbooks
  • signing up with Ancestory.com to begin a more dedicated/comprehensive family history (part of Sam’s curriculum)
  • starting the various photo book projects that have been nipping at the creative side of my brain

My Writing

  • formulate my ideas so that I am able to produce some concrete examples of where I would like to take my writing
  • compile all my favorite quotes into one place for research purposes

I read a quote recently that had a significant impact as I struggle with priorities:

I understand that many of us place what we love on the back burner. Many times due to circumstances and not so much by choice.

How do you manage it all?

An inquiring mind wants to know….desperately!

P.S.  Y’all cracked me up with your comments about my ‘organized’ mess…LOL.

I have recently reevaluated certain “things” in my life. I’ve noticed that I have let too many things bother me that I have decided are not important enough to worry about. Time to let go of these things to free up my life for the things that enrich me and make me content.
