A memorable moment…having flowers delivered this week from my husband and it’s not even a birthday or anniversary.

I am grateful..that I planted Lantana this spring outside my back door.

I laugh..when I think about how picky Miss Sam and Mr. John are about their “blankies”. They have to have them “just so” in order to sleep at night. As for me (as Mr. John would say) mine always look like “scrambled eggs”.
I love…that I have a friend I can call at the last minute and say “Hey, do you want to ride down to the beach this evening and capture some sunset shots on our cameras?” and she says “yes”. That’s where I will be heading in an hour or so.
Something new….a life jacket for a dog. No, this is not one of our pets. This is a random photo I captured about a week ago. Cute huh?

A Simple Pleasure: Guiding my daughter to make wise choices.
Something I read yesterday morning:
Leviticus 19:33-34
When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.
How do you feel when you encounter foreigners (aliens), especially those who don’t speak your language?
Are you impatient? Do you think or act as if they should go back where they came from? Are you tempted to take advantage of them?
God says to treat foreigners as you’d treat fellow country-men, to love them as you love yourself. In reality, we are all foreigners in this world, because it is only our temporary home.
View strangers, new comers, and foreigners as opportunities to demonstrate God’s love.
Taken from The Life Application Study Bible
That’s all for now. I’m off to “unscramble” my blankies and take a nap before heading out to the beach. Mr. John and I went to a boat show in Tampa today and I’m a little tired…but not too tired to take my camera to the beach later!!!
Be sure to check in tomorrow to see what fun things we were able to capture with our cameras at the beach this evening.

The butterflies and flowers are lovely surprises.
My peeps are the same way about blankets. My 16yo son stil likes to be tucked in, like a cocoon.
I wish I could go to the beach and take pictures! I’m jealous!
I’d love to come to the beach too!
My blankets are scrambled eggs. Thankfully, my husband’s are too. I can’t remember the last time the bed was made.
The flowers are GORGEOUS!! I love your new JJ banner, too! I will be coming back soon now that balance has finally somewhat found it’s way back into the daily routine around here!
