I love Thursdays. It is the day that Miss Sam and I head out to the bigger bigger city of Gainesville for a day of fun, which ALWAYS includes a stop at Borders. Today is an especially happy day because this week is Educator’s Week at Borders. Although I did breakdown and purchase A Separate Country by Robert Hicks last night at Sam’s Warehouse (along with a 30 lb pumpkin!!) ~ I did so because it was still cheaper than Borders’ 30% off price. I am considering splurging and buying The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown today. I have heard through the blogging grapevine that it is an excellent book ~ as was The DaVinci Code.
It’s time to wake Miss Sam up and get started on our day. First stop will be Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters for me (I absolutely love their Costa Rican decaf). Second stop will be Burger King for Miss Sam. We always eat some place yummy for lunch. One week we even went to a Japanese restaurant and ate tried to eat with chopsticks.
Gotta run!!! Time to GET BOOKS!!
