I do appreciate your “thumbprint” idea — really enforces the idea that even the very small things do include a “message.” Ultimately all of life includes these messages which point us directly to the Gospel and apparently your life bears that out in a way that even students are inquiring…

Isn’t that just like God to answer a prayer in such an “up front and in your face” manner? LOL! Ask and ye shall receive. And what a great way to start off your class! Hopefully God will use you this year to reach the student who asked, for whatever reason. They may not realize that they were used by God as an answer to your prayer. Wonder what they would say if they knew and if you’ll have the chance to tell them after the semester is over (if they reveal themselves)?

Danielle, I do so love reading your posts. Those mysterious, and not so mysterious, ways that God uses to get our attention always amaze me. I love that you write so many of them down and share them with us. It always encourages me!

Sounds like you have at least one student who may challenge you differently this term. Praying for you as you live out in front of them what you have proclaimed. ((hugs))
