I posted this on my Facebook yesterday but it has so blown my mind that I need to vent so that I won’t hyperventilate.

Yesterday evening I stopped into our local Books a Million. I needed to purchase the DSM-IV-TR for the Abnormal Psychology class I will be teaching in the spring.

I found my book and went up to the “This Lane is Open” register. As I stood there waiting I noticed that there was an employee propped up against an open door behind the register…smoking a cigarette. He was half in the store, half out of the store.

And this is what he said:

“I’ll be with you in just a minute”.

What the heck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me????????????????????

Where is the manager when you need one??

Probably ALL the way outside smoking a cigarette!!!
